Who owns the car?

The cars are owned by our fleet partners who kindly provide the Carasti inventory.

What’s included in my Subscription?

Your subscription includes the Car, Insurance, Warranty, Maintenance, 24hr Roadside Assistance & Delivery / Pick up.

What is the minimum subscription period?

The minimum subscription period is 1 month.

How often can I switch my car?

You can switch your car at the end of your subscription term. For example, if you subscribe for 1 month you will be able to select your next car 3 weeks into your subscription for delivery at the end of your current plan.

If I’m in a long term subscription will I automatically renew for the same period?

Cars from the used car section will renew automatically for the period of 1 month on the one-month rate if you don't cancel or confirm a long term commitment again. New cars will not automatically renew and a subscription manager will call you prior to the end of your term to give you options to keep the same car or get a brand new car again.

Is it essential to have a UAE driving license or can I have an international or home country license?

If you’re a resident in UAE, you need to have a UAE driving license to drive a car and it has to be issued for at least 6 months if not you will also have to supply us with your home country license. If you are not yet a resident and on a tourist visa you can drive on a license from the following countries: Australia, Austria, Bahrain, Belgium, Canada, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Japan, South Korea, Kuwait, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Oman, Poland, Qatar, Romania, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey, United Kingdom, United States. Finally, if your country is not on the list but you have an International Driving license you will be able to use the service. In case of a booking received without valid documentation or cancellation before delivery for any reason, Carasti will refund you minus an AED 250 administrative fee. What is the minimum age to use your service?

21 Years old - please reach out to us if you are younger and we may be able to support with a bespoke insurance deal.

How long does it take to get a car with Carasti?

You can select and subscribe to a car in minutes and delivery can happen in as little as 4 hours from your original booking as long as you book before 2pm. Mini-Leases take up to 30 days as we buy the car new, register and insure it and then deliver it to you. You will see the exact delivery date available for each car in the new section as you proceed through the booking process to select the delivery date.

Do you deliver the car?

Yes, once you select your delivery time slot and location in the app, just sit back, relax and the car will come to you! Delivery is included across most of the UAE excluding Ras Al Khaimah, Al Ain, Umm Al Quwain & Fujairah where there will be a flat 300 AED rate applicable.

Is a deposit required?

Carasti will ask for you to top up your Carasti Wallet by AED 750 upon booking which will be held and used towards any potential additional charges such as tolls, fines, damages or any other additional charges linked to your account. Please note that your minimum balance whilst you have an active subscription needs to be maintained at AED 750. We will refund this amount to the card used to make the payment after 30 days from you returning your vehicle after deducting any outstanding charges.

When will I be charged my monthly fee?

You will be charged your fee when you confirm your subscription. For renewals, you will be auto charged on your subscription end date unless you decide to end your subscription.

What is the cancellation policy?

In case of a booking received without valid documentation or cancellation before delivery for any reason, Carasti will refund you minus an AED 250 administrative fee.

1 month used car policy:

If you wish to terminate your 1-month subscription early you are free to do so and schedule a pick-up of your vehicle in app at no cancellation charge. For the avoidance of doubt, no refund is applicable in this case.

3 month used car policy:

In case of early termination of a 3 month subscription, Carasti will charge you a flat AED 350 fee.

9 month used car policy:

In case of early termination of a 9 month subscription, Carasti will charge you a flat AED 1,050 fee.

New Car Mini Lease policy:

Any 6, 9 or 12 month Mini Lease plans will incur a 3 month penalty for early cancellation. Any 24 or 36 month Mini Lease plans will incur a 6 month penalty for early cancellation. For more details on cancellations for both Monthly and Mini Lease Subscriptions please refer to our T&C's.

Is insurance fully comprehensive?

Yes, your insurance is fully comprehensive however there will be an excess to pay should you have an accident which is your fault.

What is the process in case of an accident or damage to my vehicle?

In the event of any accident or vandalism or the theft of the Vehicle, you must obtain a police report. In the event of a minor accident (where no one is injured or there is no serious damage to the vehicle), you still must get a police report. This will be used to claim for the damage from insurance. If you have purchased CDW insurance you will have zero excess to pay, if you have not then you will pay the excess amount. If someone is injured or if there is serious damage caused to the Vehicle, you should immediately dial 999, anywhere in the UAE. The police will arrive at the scene and provide you with a report. This report states the cause of the accident and shall determine which party is at fault. Once you have the police report please contact us and we can arrange for your car to be replaced.

Do I have to pay an excess fee?

Excess amounts vary from 750AED on economy cars to 5,000AED+ for supercars. You can purchase excess cover insurance to reduce this to zero. Please contact us on +97146086004 to find out more
